This website is published by Eli Dean in connection with an exploratory effort concerning the 2027 election for Virginia House of Delegates District 66.

This is not an official government website and is not operated by the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Virginia General Assembly, the Virginia Department of Elections, Caroline County, Spotsylvania County, or any other government agency.
Virginia law can require sponsor disclosures on covered political advertisements, including websites and online advertisements. The exact required wording depends on the legally responsible sponsor and, when a candidate campaign committee exists, the name shown on its Statement of Organization.
Virginia also requires an individual seeking or campaigning for state office to file a Statement of Organization within 10 days after certain triggering events, including accepting a contribution or spending funds. Campaign-finance status should be reviewed whenever money is accepted or spent, a treasurer or committee is designated, or another statutory filing trigger occurs.
If a candidate committee or another legally responsible sponsor replaces Eli Dean as the payer or sponsor of this site, the disclosure language should be updated to the legally required name.

A video posted on this site is not automatically the same thing as a paid online advertisement. If a political video is placed or promoted for a fee on an online platform, Virginia law applies television-style disclosure requirements to that paid online video.
Before a campaign video is boosted, sponsored, purchased, or otherwise promoted for a fee, its visual and spoken disclosures should be reviewed against the rules then in effect.
